Daily Math Minute

About

Math, explained the way it should have been the first time.

Daily Math Minute exists because too many people walk away from math thinking they're 'just not a math person' — when really, they were never given a clear explanation.

Where we are

Currently in our foundation phase

We're building this project in the open, deliberately. Right now that means the site itself, its structure, and its writing standards — not yet the full article library, practice tools, or AI tutor.

The article library is being written next: fifteen subject areas spanning arithmetic through competition mathematics, each reviewed for accuracy before publishing.

After that comes interactive practice, an AI Math Tutor that helps learners work through problems rather than just handing over answers, and dashboards for students and teachers. Each piece is built once the foundation beneath it is solid — not before.

What we value

How we make decisions

Evidence-based

Content is grounded in sound pedagogy, not just written to sound authoritative. If a method is included, it's because it demonstrably helps learners understand.

Clarity over cleverness

An elegant proof that confuses a learner has failed at its job. We optimize explanations for understanding, not for brevity or cleverness.

Built for the long term

We're building the foundation for years of growth — a blog today, an AI tutor and interactive practice tomorrow — rather than a quick, disposable site.

Questions, feedback, or ideas?

We'd rather hear from real learners and teachers early than build in isolation. Reach out any time.
